Long Island Insurance Company (“LIIC”) was incorporated under the laws of the State of New York on or about July 14, 1998.   LIIC was licensed to conduct the business of insurance under the laws of the State of New York on April 1, 1999.

LIIC was placed into liquidation and the New York Superintendent of Insurance was appointed as liquidator on October 19, 2010, by order of the Supreme Court of the State of New York.
