Historical Information:

Eagle Insurance Company was placed into Ancillary Receivership under the jurisdiction of the Superintendent of Insurance of the State of New York Eric R. Dinallo on Feb. 27, 2009. On March 11, 2009, the venue of the Eagle ancillary receivership proceeding was transferred from Nassau County Supreme Court to the Supreme Court of the State of New York, County of New York.

The estate was originally a New Jersey domiciled company; as such all claimants must file timely Proof of Claims with the New Jersey Office of Insolvency, prior to the NYLB processing these claims.
